1. Set your feet up in the position
shown in the picture. This would be for a regular stance skater,
so if you are goofy, switch it round. Your front foot heel
should be off the board a bit and behind the bolts.
2. The kickflip is where the board flips on a lengthways
axis. You need to be able to ollie to do it. Start by popping
the board. Just like the ollie you should drag up with your
front foot but this time you should flick it off the side
of the board to make it spin. This technique is very complicated
but is needed in a lot of flip tricks.
3. When you have flicked the board you should bring your
feet up to give the board room to spin. The landing is probably
the hardest part...
4. Lots of people can land it with one foot but obviously
you need two on. Practise this by not concentrating on the
flick as much and landing on the board upside down. I know
this sounds weird but landing it 2 footed upside down, is
sometimes closer than landing it one footed the right way
up.
5. What you need to do is catch the board with either foot,
to stop the board spinning and to get it under control to
land on. After millions of attempts, you will eventually figure
out yourself after trial and error how to land it. Thats all
i can say! sorry to dissappoint you!
