1. Set your feet up in the position
shown in the picture. This would be for a regular stance skater,
so if you are goofy, switch it round. Sometimes it is good
to put your front foot on with your toes almost hanging off.
This helps the board stay under your feet.
2. To start the trick you should wind up your arms in the
opposite way to which it will be spinning. This helps build
up the momentum.
3. Next you should pop the board and let your arms and body
rotate through. This should automatically turn the board at
least half way. You should be guiding the board round with
your front foot too.
4. If your board hasn't completed the full 180 land the board
in a pivot fashion. This involves landing it in a kind of
manual with your front foot on the front truck (which will
soon become the back foot). This allows you to complete the
180 and ride away clean.
